Angkor Palace Suite & Villa

Loved this hotel and grounds and will return! It really lives up to its name - "palace." Just FYI - I stayed in different rooms in different parts of the Angkor Palace Resort & Spa (not Suite & Villa), even though this review will appear under the Suite & Villa, because the room was listed under Suite & Villa on booking.com. It was confusing to me, but staff said their online booking team is working on fixing it.Anyway, the rooms were great! The spa was running a special and was also great! The lobby area is majestic! Staff, including Nat who gave me a tour of the property, were all great!

The long and beautiful driveway and the wide maharaja lobby are incredibly beautiful. the trail to the villas is lined with colorful hedges and small and big trees with gorgeous lilly ponds, serene and lovely. My villa was in the middle facing a long beautiful pool.

Beautiful well kept grounds. The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. Two beautiful pools, one for swimming lengths and one for lounging. There were plenty of lingers and good towel services. The spa was spotless and the massage was very good.

Hardwood floors make the lower rooms a little noisy specially when folks are getting up for the Angkor Wat sunrise tour. Pick a top floor room. The breakfast buffet was not that great. About half as good as the buffet we had in the previous resort in Hoi A Vietnam.

They had everything we needed for a family trip, two big swimming pools and playground. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially during breakfast time when it was crowded.

Beautiful big hotel with two big beautiful swimming pools. The rooms are sparkling clean and comfortably designed. The staff and the management were very professional and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and it was great that it was unlimited a la carte. We were staying during the low seasons, so practically nobody was staying at this big hotel. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel.

The grounds, landscaping and pool areas were lovely and very peaceful. It is an oasis.

We have no negative comments.

Not nearly enough sun beds at the pool. By 10am all of them were gone and staff do nothing to make sure sun beds that are vacated are cleaned and made ready for new guests. Staff can be a little unhelpful at times

It appears, I traveled during low season and the hotel upgraded me to a villa, which was a total surprise. I am sure I would have enjoyed my stay in the room I booked but the the stay at the villa was another level up! Very spacious and quiet, impeccably clean and well-stocked with drinking water. I was using the spa services daily and I was very satisfied with quality, courtesy of all therapists and cleanliness of the rooms. I didn't check prices outside of the resort and they are likely lower but the spa offers various discounts and the ambience is an important factor for me. If I ever travel to Siem Reap again, I will definitely stay again!

I was traveling alone, so didn't feel like eating in the city by myself and had few meals at the restaurant. I wish there are more local dishes on the menu, including salads which are easy to prepare.

Great resort, great value! I enjoyed the swimming pool and spa. Breakfast was superb.

The restaurant needs more variety, and compared to other restaurants is overpriced.

Really relaxed location. Most amazing hotel swimming pool, Olympic size actually swimmable and by the bedroom door. Also there’s a second pool for fun/families with a bar. And had fantastic Kymer massages at the wellness centre everyday. Breakfast lovely sitting outside in the gardens by the koi carp pond. Genuinely perfect and helpful staff. Also recommend the Cambodian dinner experience in there traditional house on site - wife’s a chef and she was impressed (usually impossible!)

Faultless. But warning for sauna lovers need to go 30 mins early to turn it on (to be fair energy saving!).
